Most importantly, Adaptsys carrier tape is produced using premium material within strict production guidelines that ensure a strong and consistent form on every pocket created. 

Utilising a strong 3-layer material made up from Polystyrene, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene and Polystyrene provides a material which is pliable under heat, strong when formed and also provides excellent dissipative properties. As well as increased strength, PS-ABS-PS also provides dimensional stability over conventional single layer polystyrene types.

To form this material, Adaptsys have developed a forming system that reduces manufacturing costs whilst still providing a consistent form each and every time.

Vision inspection is performed on each pocket for validation and quality tracking; this confirms that the form is correct. The tape is then wound onto the relevant reel and marked up ready for dispatch.

Custom tooling, for custom pocket designs, is also available with significantly lower costs and faster delivery than competitive brands.
